Product Designer (UI/UX + Web)

We are seeking a Product Designer (UI/UX + Web) to shape the user experience across our core web application and marketing presence. This role blends product UX, visual design, and web design, working closely with engineering and product leadership to deliver thoughtful, user-centered solutions.
This is a remote position with no travel required.

Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for the core Alpha Recon web platform
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for new features and product enhancements
- Define, document, and maintain a scalable design system (components, typography, color, spacing, patterns)
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to translate requirements into functional, usable designs
- Optimize user flows, interactions, and information architecture to improve usability and efficiency
- Design and maintain the Alpha Recon marketing website, including layout, content hierarchy, and visual presentation
- Ensure visual and UX consistency between the product interface and marketing/brand experience
- Conduct usability reviews, internal critiques, and iterate designs based on feedback, data, and user needs
- Provide design assets, documentation, and specifications to support front-end development
- Contribute to the overall product experience strategy, visual direction, and design quality bar
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing web-based applications, preferably SaaS or enterprise platforms
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices
- Experience designing responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain design systems or component libraries
- Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, and spacing
- Experience collaborating with developers and understanding modern front-end constraints
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing both product interfaces and marketing websites
- Familiarity with Angular or modern front-end frameworks (conceptual understanding, not coding required)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to support effective collaboration with front-end teams
- Experience with branding and visual identity development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience improving conversion rates and user engagement on marketing or product-led growth websites
