Full Stack Engineer

Alpha Recon Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining modern applications using Angular on the frontend, Java with Spring Boot on the backend, and a PostgreSQL database.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the entire technology stack, collaborating in an Agile environment, and delivering robust, scalable software solutions.
This is a remote position with no travel required.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full‑stack applications using Angular and Java/Spring Boot
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL databases
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high‑quality software
- Write clean, secure, and scalable code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, review, and improve application performance and reliability
Must Have
- Strong Angular (modern versions) experience
- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
- Experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases
- REST API development and integration experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Nice To Have
- OAuth, JWT, or RBAC experience
- CI/CD pipeline familiarity
- Azure or AWS exposure
- SaaS application experience
- Security‑focused development mindset

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the entire technology stack, collaborating in an Agile environment, and delivering robust, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
· Build responsive front-end applications using Angular
· Develop secure, scalable REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
· Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries
· Participate in full SDLC (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support)
· Collaborate with product, UX, and DevOps teams
· Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
· Perform code reviews and contribute to technical standards
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong experience with Angular (modern versions)
· Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
· Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
· REST API design and integration
· Git-based source control workflows
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
· Solid understanding of software architecture and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, RBAC)
